Job Description
Part Time Position with Potential for Full Valid Driver's License is required
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and possess excellent customer service skills. This role involves providing care and support to animals in our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily care of animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
- Clean and maintain kennels, cages, and animal living areas
- Monitor animal behavior and report any health or behavioral concerns to the supervisor
- Provide basic grooming and bathing services for animals
- Assist with animal restraint when necessary
- Interact with pet owners and provide excellent customer service
- Support owner with various tasks as needed
Skills:
- Experience in kennel management or pet care is preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and gently
- Knowledge of basic animal handling techniques
- Familiarity with dog training or veterinary assistance is a plus
