Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a part-time Kennel Technician, where your passion for animal care and handling will make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets. Responsibilities Provide daily care and supervision for animals housed in kennels, including feeding, watering, and administering medications as directed. Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of kennels, cages, and common areas to uphold health standards. Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to prevent injury and stress. Assist with dog enrichment activities to promote good behavior and socialization. Basic animal handling, veterinary technician tasks, or grooming/bathing procedures when needed. Monitor animals' health and behavior and report any concerns or abnormalities to management promptly. Engage with the community through excellent customer service, answering questions about services offered. Requirements Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance Policy Prior experience in pet grooming, pet sitting, or animal handling is highly desirable. Knowledge of dog training techniques and kennel experience is a strong plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to move supplies or assist with animal transport. Strong understanding of animal restraint methods and safety protocols. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Previous work as a veterinary assistant or kennel technician is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
