Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dog Bather / Kennel Technicians to join our team. This job position is
PART TIME 25 HOURS PER WEEK
(MONDAY - FRIDAY 8AM-1PM) The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and the ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for pets. As a bather, you will be responsible for bathing, nail trims, drying, brushing, etc.. As a Kennel Technician, you will be responsible for the daily care of animals in our facility, ensuring their health and well-being while maintaining cleanliness and organization. Responsibilities Bathing, nail trims, blow drying, brushing the dogs Provide care for animals, including feeding, medications, and exercising. Monitor the health and behavior of pets, reporting any concerns. Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment. Assist with dog socialization activities. Handle animals safely and effectively. Maintain accurate records of animal care activities. Collaborate with other team members to ensure high standards of animal welfare. Qualifications Experience in bathing / animal handling or pet care is preferred. Previous experience as a veterinary technician, veterinary assistant, or in a kennel environment is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Compassionate attitude towards animals with a commitment to their well-being. Ability to lift and move animals upwards of 100 pounds safely as needed. Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays.
Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
