Hair of the Dog Grooming is looking for a dependable and talented groomer to join our pack! We're searching for someone who can confidently perform full-service grooming while treating every dog with patience, kindness, and care. Responsibilities Bathe, dry, brush and groom dogs of different breeds and sizes Perform breed-specific and customer-requested haircuts Trim and grind nails, clean ears and provide deshedding services Safely handle nervous, senior or difficult dogs Communicate professionally with pet parents Keep the grooming area and equipment clean and sanitized Monitor each dog for health, skin or behavioral concerns Work efficiently without sacrificing safety or quality What We're Looking For Professional dog-grooming experience Confidence with clippers, scissors and breed-standard cuts A genuine love for dogs Dependable, punctual and able to work as part of a team Patient and calm when handling animals Strong customer-service and communication skills Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift dogs Grooming portfolio or photographs of your work preferred What We Offer A fun, welcoming and dog-loving workplace Established clientele Supportive team environment Competitive pay based on experience Employee discounts Opportunities to grow your clientele and skills
