Duties Perform thorough bathing, grooming, and pet coat styling for dogs of all sizes and breeds, ensuring each pet looks and feels their best Handle animals safely and compassionately, employing proper restraint techniques during grooming and handling procedures Assist customers by providing knowledgeable advice on pet care, grooming options, and product selections Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area, including grooming stations, retail shelves, and equipment Support pet owners with communication about their pets' grooming needs, health considerations, and special requests Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other basic grooming services with precision and care Assist with heavy lifting of supplies or large animals when necessary to ensure safety for pets and staff Experience Prior experience in dog handling, pet grooming, or animal care is highly desirable Veterinary experience or background as a veterinary technician or assistant is a plus, providing valuable insight into animal health needs Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and pet coat styling enhances service quality Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with pet owners from diverse backgrounds Experience with pet sitting or companion animal handling demonstrates reliability and compassion Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining a lively, energetic attitude towards daily tasks Join us in creating a joyful environment where pets are pampered and owners feel confident leaving their beloved animals in caring hands.
