Job Overview Are you passionate about animals and eager to provide loving care to dogs of all sizes and breeds? We are seeking energetic and dedicated Dog Sitters—both part-time and full-time—to join our team! In this role, you'll have the exciting opportunity to care for dogs in their homes or in our facilities, ensuring they receive the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. Your enthusiasm for animal welfare and strong communication skills will help create a positive experience for pets and their owners alike. This paid position offers flexible scheduling options to fit your lifestyle while making a meaningful difference in animals' lives. Responsibilities Provide attentive pet sitting services, including feeding, walking, and administering medications if needed Engage dogs in stimulating outdoor activities such as dog walking and playtime to promote physical health and mental well-being Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques during care routines or veterinary visits Monitor pet behavior closely, recognizing signs of stress or illness, and communicate observations clearly to pet owners or veterinary professionals Maintain a clean, safe environment for animals during overnight in-home care or day visits Assist with basic training exercises, reinforcing positive behaviors and commands Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pet's needs, behaviors, and any concerns that arise during care Requirements Prior experience with dog handling, animal care, or pet sitting is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal behavior management Experience working with veterinary professionals such as veterinary technicians or assistants is a plus Ability to perform outdoor work comfortably in various weather conditions Physical capability for heavy lifting (e.g., carrying supplies or assisting larger dogs) Strong client communication skills to ensure pet owners are well-informed and satisfied with services provided Compassionate attitude with a genuine love for animals and dedication to their well-being Reliable transportation for visiting multiple clients or locations throughout the day Join us if you're ready to turn your love for animals into a rewarding career!
