We make fully custom, undetectable human hair wigs for women with medical hair loss, luxury clients, and the Jewish community. Every wig we sell is finished by hand for the client who will wear it, and we care for our clients' wigs for years after. The Role We are hiring a Wig Ventilator to join our studio. Ventilating (hand-tying human hair into the cap) is the heart of this job. It is how we create the natural hairlines, baby hairs, and perfect density that make our wigs undetectable. Beyond ventilating, you will help turn each wig into a finished, custom piece for the client who will wear it. You will work side by side with our founder and stylist, Tallie Nourollah, in our West 3rd Street studio. Ventilating Work (the core of the job) Hand-tie human hair onto lace and silk caps Create natural hairlines and baby hairs Re-front hairlines and rebuild or adjust density Single and double knotting to match each order Ventilating repairs on our clients' Tallie Wigs pieces Custom Finishing Adjust cap size for a perfect, secure fit Trace, cut, and finish lace Pluck and refine parts and hairlines Add clips, combs, and other fit attachments Color and dye human hair wigs, including highlights, toning, and root work Wash, condition, and style wigs Help with any other human hair wig service the studio offers Who We Are Looking For Hands-on ventilating experience on human hair wigs, toppers, or hair systems Real experience with luxury human hair (required) A passion for high-end human hair and a strong desire to master the craft. You do not need to know everything yet, and we will teach the Tallie Wigs way Excellent eyesight, steady hands, and patience for fine detail Photos of your ventilating and human hair wig work (please include with your application) Reliable, warm with clients, and respectful of client privacy Able to work in person in Los Angeles Please note: this role is for luxury human hair only. Experience limited to synthetic or low-cost wigs is not a fit. Nice to Have Cosmetology license Wig cutting and coloring experience Experience with sheitels

Details Pay:
