We're looking for a licensed or soon-to-be licensed cosmetology professional who wants more than just another salon job. This position is ideal for someone who loves blowouts and styling and wants the opportunity to learn, assist, and eventually grow into advanced hair extension services. Responsibilities Shampoo and condition clients Perform professional blowouts and styling Assist stylists during services Prepare clients and stations for appointments Help maintain a clean, organized, zen salon environment Salon laundry, including towels, capes, and linens Sanitize tools, stations, shampoo bowls, and common areas Assist with extension preparation and organization Help with client hospitality and overall salon experience Assist with inventory and salon organization Support the team during busy appointment days What We're Looking For Virginia cosmetology license or currently enrolled/recent graduate where legally appropriate for the duties performed Strong blow-dry and styling skills Reliable and punctual Friendly and professional Comfortable working as part of a team Detail-oriented and organized Passionate about the beauty industry Interested in continuing education Interested in learning hair extensions and hair loss solutions Willing to help wherever needed to create an exceptional client experience Schedule Our salon operates: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday The salon is closed Thursday.
