Minimum 2 years of aesthetic injecting experience About Onyx Aesthetics Onyx Aesthetics is a growing medical aesthetics practice in McAllen focused on delivering natural, personalized results and an elevated patient experience. We are seeking an experienced, motivated aesthetic injector who values patient safety, continued growth, and long-term relationship building. Position Overview The ideal candidate has at least two years of hands-on aesthetic injecting experience and is confident performing comprehensive facial assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering safe, natural-looking results. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the patient experience, contributes positively to the team, and is motivated to grow their patient base within the Onyx brand. Responsibilities Conduct aesthetic consultations and facial assessments within the individual's license, training, and scope of practice Develop individualized aesthetic treatment plans Administer neurotoxins, dermal fillers, biostimulators, and other injectable treatments within the provider's training and scope of practice Educate patients on treatment options, realistic outcomes, aftercare, and recommended maintenance Maintain complete and accurate medical documentation Follow all clinical, safety, sanitation, and regulatory protocols Build and maintain strong, long-term patient relationships Conduct appropriate patient follow-up and address post-treatment concerns Participate in ongoing training and professional development Collaborate with the Onyx clinical, administrative, and marketing teams Support practice growth through patient retention, treatment planning, events, and approved content participation Maintain a professional appearance and represent the Onyx brand consistently Qualifications Active Texas RN, NP, PA, or physician license in good standing Minimum of two years of hands-on aesthetic injecting experience Demonstrated experience with neurotoxins and dermal fillers Strong understanding of facial anatomy, injection safety, complication recognition, and emergency protocols Current BLS certification Excellent consultation, communication, and patient-service skills Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail Professional, dependable, coachable, and team-oriented Comfortable discussing comprehensive treatment plans without using a high-pressure sales approach Existing patient following or established local presence is preferred but not required What We Value Patient safety and ethical treatment recommendations Natural, high-quality results Accountability and professionalism Initiative and a growth-oriented mindset Consistent follow-up and patient retention Collaboration and a positive team culture Compensation Compensation will be determined based on experience, clinical skill level, training, patient following, availability, and overall fit for the position.
