In this hands-on role, you will diagnose, repair, install, and maintain commercial laundry equipment to ensure reliable operation and minimal downtime. The ideal candidate has experience troubleshooting commercial washers and dryers and can work independently while maintaining a high standard of quality and professionalism. Experience with Speed Queen, Electrolux, Dexter, Huebsch, Wascomat, or similar commercial laundry equipment is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer service manuals. Repair and maintain commercial washers, dryers, stack dryers, and related laundry equipment. Install new commercial laundry equipment according to manufacturer specifications. Perform routine preventive maintenance to maximize equipment performance and reduce downtime. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, electronic, and control system issues. Replace motors, belts, bearings, pumps, valves, sensors, door locks, control boards, ignitors, and other machine components. Test equipment after repairs to ensure safe and proper operation. Maintain accurate service records and document repairs performed. Keep tools, parts, and work areas clean and organized. Respond promptly to service calls and prioritize repairs to minimize equipment downtime. Follow all safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience repairing commercial laundry equipment preferred. Experience servicing Speed Queen, Electrolux, Dexter, Huebsch, Wascomat, or similar commercial laundry equipment. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Experience using hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment, and diagnostic instruments. Basic plumbing knowledge related to commercial laundry equipment. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with preventive maintenance programs. Experience servicing Speed Queen, Electrolux, Dexter Experience installing or commissioning commercial laundry equipment.
