North Grand River Cooperative is hiring an opening maintenance technician with a start time of 4:00am Monday-Friday with a rotating Saturday schedule. As the opening maintenance technician your responsibilities will be shift start up (turning on boiler, air compressor, water, etc.). You will be performing routine and preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment to prevent downtime. You will be responsible for upkeep of the boiler and chemical systems, along with laundry equipment (tunnel washers/dryers and finishing equipment) and air compressor upkeep. As a maintenance technician you will be responsible for assisting with equipment and safety training along with following all safety guidelines and regulations. North Grand River is looking for a candidate with following skills sets:

• Electrical Experience
• Troubleshooting
• Blueprint/Schematic knowledge
• Pneumatic operating (hand/power tools)
• Maintain Efficiency
• Quality Driven
• Self-Starter
• Mechanical Repair Experience (small/large equipment)
• General Plumbing Knowledge
• Willingness and Flexibility to cover other shifts when necessary

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of electrical/maintenance repair experience
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
• Must pass physical and drug screen
• Ability to properly document all necessary safety and PM repairs
• Ability to climb ladders/equipment, along with working in confined spaces

• $24 starting wage
