Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic laundromat team as a Full-Time or Part-Time Wash, Dry, and Folder Associate! In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our laundry operations, ensuring that every garment is treated with care and delivered with excellence. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a seamless experience for our customers, whether they're dropping off their laundry or picking it up. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop skills in garment care, customer service, and operational procedures in a fast-paced, friendly environment. All positions are paid, and we value every team member's contribution! Duties Operate garment finishing machines such as pressing machines and garment care equipment to ensure high-quality results Handle laundry processing tasks including washing, drying, folding, and packaging garments efficiently Maintain a clean and organized workspace by regularly cleaning workstations and using appropriate cleaning detergents Assist customers with their laundry services, answer questions about garment care, and process cash transactions accurately Perform manual handling of heavy laundry loads safely and efficiently while adhering to proper lifting techniques Monitor and operate pressing machines to achieve crisp, professional finishes on garments Ensure all processing equipment is functioning correctly and report any maintenance needs promptly Experience Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable, providing familiarity with customer service standards and garment finishing procedures Strong understanding of cleaning routines, workspace maintenance, and handling cleaning detergents safely Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and transaction processing accurately Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that makes clients feel valued and comfortable Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly while maintaining safety standards must be able to light 40lbs Join us in creating a clean, welcoming environment where quality service meets efficiency!
