Responsibilities Operate laundry machinery including industrial washers, dryers, and garment care machines to efficiently clean linens, towels, and guest uniforms. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper sorting, loading, and unloading of laundry loads while following safety protocols. Use laundry detergents and cleaning agents correctly to achieve optimal sanitation and textile cleaning results. Manage heavy lifting tasks safely using push carts or other equipment to transport large loads of linens or textiles throughout the facility. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning work areas, machines, and tools in accordance with safety standards in production. Adhere strictly to safety protocols during all manual handling activities to prevent injuries or accidents. Assist with laundry services for guest rooms and public areas, ensuring timely delivery of fresh linens and textiles that meet quality standards. Skills Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry services, and textile cleaning processes including dry cleaning when applicable. Ability to operate garment care machines such as industrial washers and dryers with precision. Familiarity with materials handling equipment like push carts for heavy lifting tasks. Basic math skills for measuring detergents and managing laundry quantities accurately. Understanding of safety standards in production environments to ensure safe manual handling and equipment operation. Excellent customer service skills to support guest satisfaction through prompt and professional laundry assistance. Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety protocol adherence to maintain a hygienic work environment.
