Job Description
Laundry / Public Area Attendant The Wisconsin Hotel - Wisconsin Dells, WI Join Our Team! The Wisconsin Hotel is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Laundry/Public Area Attendant to help keep our hotel looking its best. Position Summary This position is responsible for operating the hotel's laundry facilities while also maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of all public areas. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable, and committed to providing guests with a clean and welcoming environment. Responsibilities Laundry Duties Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens and towels. Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear. Maintain an organized and clean laundry area. Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens is available for hotel operations. Follow proper chemical handling and laundry procedures. Public Area Duties Clean and sanitize the lobby, restrooms, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and other guest areas. Vacuum, dust, mop, and polish surfaces throughout the hotel. Empty trash and replace liners. Clean glass doors, windows, and entryways. Restock restroom supplies and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift. Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly. Assist with light housekeeping duties as needed. Qualifications Previous hotel or cleaning experience is preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Strong attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods. Reliable attendance and a positive attitude. Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
