Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Laundry Attendant, where your energy and attention to detail will ensure our guests experience the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling all laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and maintaining linens and garments. Your dedication to sanitation, safety, and textile care will contribute directly to the overall guest experience. Responsibilities Operate laundry machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and garment care equipment to process linens and guest clothing efficiently. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper sorting, washing, drying, and folding of textiles according to safety standards and textile care guidelines. Manage heavy lifting tasks using push carts or other equipment to transport linens and laundry supplies safely around the facility. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all laundry areas by adhering to safety protocols in production environments. Use laundry detergents and cleaning agents responsibly while following safety standards in production to prevent contamination or accidents. Ensure timely completion of laundry services for guest rooms, public areas, and staff uniforms with attention to quality and detail. Assist in inventory management of laundry supplies and report any maintenance needs for machines or equipment. Requirements Prior experience in cleaning, laundry services, or textile cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and pushing carts safely throughout shifts. Knowledge of sanitation procedures, safety standards in production environments, and proper use of laundry detergents. Basic math skills for measuring detergents, sorting textiles, and managing laundry loads accurately. Familiarity with garment care machine operation such as industrial washers/dryers or dry cleaning equipment is advantageous. Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude towards guest satisfaction.
