Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are laundered, dried, and pressed to meet the high standards of cleanliness expected in our hotel environment. Laundry is also responsible for cleaning the public areas in the moring time. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Launder and dry clean hotel linens, towels, and guest garments according to established procedures. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store clean items in an organized manner. Operate laundry equipment safely and effectively while adhering to safety guidelines. Inspect items for stains or damage before laundering and report any issues to management. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and garments. Launry is responsible for the public areas of the hotel. Follow all health and safety regulations related to laundry operations. Requirements Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferred but not required. Familiarity with hotel laundry operations is a plus. Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment effectively. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays . Weekends are a must.
