Job Description

Grandma Did It Better finds, restores, and sells vintage clothing. We're looking for a tailor or seamstress who loves careful hand work and would enjoy bringing beautiful old garments back to life. The work Repair and restore vintage pieces: seams, linings, hems, closures, beading Customer alterations Look over incoming pieces and decide what each one needs You 3+ years of tailoring, alterations, or dressmaking Confident hand and machine sewing Nice to have: delicate fabrics (silk, lace, beaded pieces), reweaving. We'll teach the vintage-specific techniques. Pay & schedule $22-24 per hour, based on experience Full-time position PTO, paid holidays, employee discount Work is at our Huntington studio distribution center
