Currently seeking a full-time client services representative/veterinary assistant to join our veterinary practice. We are looking for a reliable team player with outstanding customer service skills to serve our clientele. Applicant must be personable, professional, detail oriented and able to multi-task. The job description includes (but is not limited to) the following: Animal Care and Treatment Responsibilities include : restraint, vaccine preparation, assisting in x-rays set up and processing, preparing lab samples for analysis, sterilization of surgical instruments, basic knowledge of drugs and their usage, maintaining safety protocols when handling animals, always maintaining high standards of care, clinic cleanliness, and assisting the technicians and doctors.

Customer Service Responsibilities include:

answering phone calls, taking appropriate messages, scheduling appointments, invoicing and checking out clients, thorough knowledge of the computer system, organizing and maintaining patient records, clinic cleanliness, providing friendly and compassionate service to the clients and pets of our clinic community.

Pay:

$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
