We are in search of 1 Veterinary Assistant for our busy, small animal and exotic, 6 doctor, AAHA accredited practice. Full -time shift available. Our belief is to provide our patient's with lifelong excellent quality care, and support. We treat every pet as if they are our own. Ideal candidates interested in joining our team should be friendly, outgoing, have excellent customer service skills. They also need to be professional, responsible, empathetic, and be computer savvy. Veterinary experience is highly preferred, however, we will train the right candidate. The duties of our assistants include but are not limited to: Help assist the doctors and technicians throughout the day Fill exam rooms for the doctors and technicians Restrain animals for exam, vaccs, and procedures Take accurate patient history Keep accurate medical records and logs Have excellent communication skills Help maintain and keep clean the exam rooms and hospital We offer competitive pay and excellent benefits including: A flexible schedule A 401(k) retirement plan Pet allowance Health insurance Dental Insurance Generous paid time off One hour lunch breaks Paid Holidays Uniform allowance Full- time position is available for 4 week days (8-6PM) and every other Saturday (8-12PM).
