Duties:
```
  • Assist veterinarians in providing medical care for animals
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
  • Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
  • Collect and analyze laboratory samples, such as blood and urine
  • Perform diagnostic tests, including radiographs,scoping, ultrasounds
  • Monitor animals under anesthesia and during recovery
  • Provide post-operative care and monitor the progress of hospitalized animals
  • Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration ```
Qualifications:
```
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in veterinary technology preferred
  • Certification as a veterinary technician (CVT) or licensed veterinary technician (LVT) is a plus
  • Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital
  • Knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Proficiency in animal restraint techniques and catheterization procedures
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with pet owners and veterinary staff
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassion for animals and a genuine desire to provide quality care
