Provide exceptional pet care by feeding, administering medications, cleaning kennels, and monitoring animals' health and behavior. Handle dogs and other animals with confidence, employing proper restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and staff. Perform pet grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming to maintain cleanliness and comfort. Maintain detailed records of each animal's health status, treatments, and special needs in accordance with facility protocols. Prior kennel or animal handling experience is highly preferred; familiarity with veterinary procedures is a plus. Knowledge of dog training techniques and pet grooming practices is desirable. Experience working with animals in veterinary clinics or as veterinary assistants enhances your suitability for this role. Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when moving supplies or handling large animals. Excellent animal handling skills combined with patience, compassion, and attention to detail.
