Job Description

Job Summary Licensed Veterinary Technicians at EACH work with both cats and dogs in a high-volume spay/neuter environment in addition to providing wellness appointments. We work to help both rescue groups and financially qualifying individuals by providing lower cost services.. We have an in-house laboratory and x-ray. We use ezyVet software and have a progressive, fun atmosphere. Due to the nature of this work, you must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. We work Monday-Thursday and are off all major holidys. A valid license is a MUST. New graduates welcome. Flexible, part-time and fulltime hours avalible. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures by preparing equipment and maintaining a sterile environment using aseptic techniques. Perform animal restraint and handling with confidence, ensuring safety for both animals and staff during examinations or treatments. Conduct laboratory tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostics to support accurate diagnoses. Maintain detailed records of patient histories, treatments, and procedures while adhering to veterinary critical care protocols. Support pet owners with pet care advice for basic health tips to promote ongoing wellness. Manage animal husbandry tasks such as feeding, cleaning, and monitoring animal behavior to ensure optimal comfort. Operate diagnostic equipment including X-ray machines and assist with radiographic procedures involving animal anatomy knowledge.
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
