Job Description

Animal Hospital of Richboro is an upbeat, fast-paced veterinary practice looking for a Part-time Veterinary Assistant or Technician who wants to care for our client's animals and contribute to the growth of our close-knit team. Located in Richboro PA, we provide high-quality, very professional care for our patients. We care about our clients and want them to spend quality time with their pets for as long as they can. We provide full-service surgical, dental, and medical care to small animals. Highly Valued skills/abilities:

Greeting clients, making them feel welcome
Maintaining accurate electronic and written medical records
Liaison communication between clients and veterinarians
Ability to triage patients
Knowledge of veterinary products (vaccines, preventatives, medications)
Filling prescriptions (basic pharmacology knowledge, familiarity with monthly preventatives, familiarity with medications)
Radiology skills
Patient Restraint and handling
Ability to lift up to 45 pounds unassisted
General hospital care/maintenance
Ability to work unsupervised, as well as part of a team
Great people skills to assist in client education
Desire to learn and to be taught

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
