Job Description

Animal Hospital of Richboro is an upbeat, fast-paced veterinary practice looking for a Part-time Veterinary Assistant or Technician who wants to care for our client's animals and contribute to the growth of our close-knit team. Located in Richboro PA, we provide high-quality, very professional care for our patients. We care about our clients and want them to spend quality time with their pets for as long as they can. We provide full-service surgical, dental, and medical care to small animals. Applicants must be client and patient focused and genuinely enjoy working with people and their pets.
Highly Valued skills/abilities:
  • Greeting clients, making them feel welcome
  • Maintaining accurate electronic and written medical records
  • Liaison communication between clients and veterinarians
  • Ability to triage patients
  • Knowledge of veterinary products (vaccines, preventatives, medications)
  • Filling prescriptions (basic pharmacology knowledge, familiarity with monthly preventatives, familiarity with medications)
  • Radiology skills
  • Patient Restraint and handling
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds unassisted
  • General hospital care/maintenance
  • Ability to work unsupervised, as well as part of a team
  • Great people skills to assist in client education
  • Desire to learn and to be taught
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
