Job Description

Job Summary A well-established law firm in Winter Park, FL is seeking an experienced Probate & Trust Paralegal to support a busy Trusts & Estates practice. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a paralegal with strong Florida probate and trust administration experience who enjoys taking ownership of matters from initial filings through final distribution. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a senior attorney in a professional, collaborative legal environment where attention to detail, client service, and independent file management are valued. The team provides a supportive setting for an experienced paralegal who wants meaningful responsibility, direct client interaction, and the ability to make a visible impact on estate and trust administration matters. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage probate and estate administration matters from opening through completion under attorney guidance.
  • Prepare and coordinate probate petitions, inventories, notices, accountings, waivers, releases, receipts, and related court filings.
  • Support trust administration matters, including notices, asset collection, trust funding, distributions, records, and fiduciary accountings.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, fiduciaries, beneficiaries, courts, financial institutions, accountants, advisors, and other third parties.
  • Track creditor claims, filing deadlines, publication requirements, court dates, and administration milestones.
  • Assist with asset valuation, retitling, account setup, tax documentation gathering, transaction reconciliation, and closing documentation. Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary range: $75,000 to $95,000 per year.
