A Paralegal or Legal Assistant assists attorneys and law offices with a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to legal research and writing. Maintains and organizes files or file databases. Conducts legal or other background research, assists with preparation for trials or hearings, and drafts documents to be filed. Uses software for electronic discovery of materials such as email for a trial. May specialize in a particular area of the law such as corporate or criminal law, family law or real estate law.

Job Description
- Manage probate and estate administration matters from opening through completion under attorney guidance.
- Prepare and coordinate probate petitions, inventories, notices, accountings, waivers, releases, receipts, and related court filings.
- Support trust administration matters, including notices, asset collection, trust funding, distributions, records, and fiduciary accountings.
- Communicate professionally with clients, fiduciaries, beneficiaries, courts, financial institutions, accountants, advisors, and other third parties.
- Track creditor claims, filing deadlines, publication requirements, court dates, and administration milestones.
- Assist with asset valuation, retitling, account setup, tax documentation gathering, transaction reconciliation, and closing documentation. Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $75,000 to $95,000 per year.
