Administrative Assistant Summary:
The employer is seeking a motivated Legal/Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations and assist with preparing legal documents. They are willing to train; however, candidates with prior legal experience or education are strongly preferred. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Create, edit, and format letters, legal documents, and correspondence using Microsoft Word.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
  • Assist with drafting documents under attorney or supervisor guidance.
  • Answer and direct calls, emails, and general office inquiries.
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as copying, scanning, and data entry.
  • Support legal staff with case preparation and document organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in legal studies or experience working in a legal office.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and standard office software.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow established procedures.
Wage based on experience.
Training:
