Job Description
. Job Overview Search Solution Group is seeking a Director of Environmental Health & Safety on behalf of our client, a company specializing in industrial cutting technologies. This leadership role is responsible for developing and executing the organization's global environmental, health, and safety strategy while fostering a strong culture of safety across multiple manufacturing sites. The Director of Environmental Health & Safety will lead global EH&S initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making, and partner with business leaders to integrate safety into daily operations. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a global Environmental Health & Safety strategy aligned with the company's corporate objectives and safety vision.
Lead and mentor a team of Environmental Health & Safety Managers responsible for maintaining compliance with environmental, occupational health, and safety regulations across global operations.
Promote and strengthen a company-wide culture of safety through leadership, employee engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop, implement, and optimize Safety Management Systems across multiple manufacturing locations.
Analyze safety performance data and trends to identify risks, drive corrective actions, and support operational and capital investment decisions.
Lead the Global Safety Council and expand the organization's Safety Champion network through formal training and experiential learning.
Ensure compliance with all applicable OSHA, environmental, and occupational health regulations, as well as other global regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Environmental Health & Safety programs into daily business operations.
Interface with regulatory agencies during inspections, audits, and compliance initiatives.
Develop and oversee safety training programs, certifications, and employee awareness initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement in workplace safety processes, policies, and procedures.
Support ergonomic injury prevention initiatives and promote best practices across all facilities. Additional Information

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field required.
Master's degree preferred. Experience
Minimum of 10 years of progressive Environmental Health & Safety leadership experience.
Experience leading Environmental Health & Safety programs within a multi-site manufacturing environment.
Proven experience developing and implementing Safety Management Systems.
Experience leading organizational culture change and safety improvement initiatives.
Experience working with regulatory agencies and maintaining compliance across multiple locations.
Preferred:
15+ years of progressive Environmental Health & Safety leadership within a global manufacturing organization.
Preferred experience with ergonomic injury prevention programs.
Preferred experience achieving or maintaining OSHA Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star Certification. Skills
