Assess patients' physical, mental, and emotional capabilities to determine their occupational therapy needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients regain or improve their ability to perform daily activities
Provide therapeutic interventions such as exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment to enhance patients' functional abilities
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and speech therapists, to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
Educate patients and their families on techniques and strategies to maximize independence and promote overall well-being
Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements ```Skills```
Proficiency in medical terminology related to occupational therapy
Knowledge of speech therapy principles and techniques
Strong patient service skills with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships
Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting
Solid understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and critical care concepts
Familiarity with occupational health practices and protocols
