  • Assess patients' physical, mental, and emotional capabilities to determine their occupational therapy needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients regain or improve their ability to perform daily activities
  • Provide therapeutic interventions such as exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment to enhance patients' functional abilities
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and speech therapists, to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
  • Educate patients and their families on techniques and strategies to maximize independence and promote overall well-being
  • Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements ```Skills```
  • Proficiency in medical terminology related to occupational therapy
  • Knowledge of speech therapy principles and techniques
  • Strong patient service skills with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships
  • Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Solid understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and critical care concepts
  • Familiarity with occupational health practices and protocols
