- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients regain or improve their ability to perform daily activities
- Provide therapeutic interventions such as exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment to enhance patients' functional abilities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and speech therapists, to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on techniques and strategies to maximize independence and promote overall well-being
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements ```Skills```
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to occupational therapy
- Knowledge of speech therapy principles and techniques
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Solid understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and critical care concepts
- Familiarity with occupational health practices and protocols
