Job Description

Borusan Berg Pipe is the leading manufacturer of large-diameter steel line pipe in North America. We are a mid-sized manufacturer with two U.S. locations specializing in pipe production for the oil and gas sector. We are seeking a full-time
SAFETY TECHNICIAN
for our
PANAMA CITY
location. Reports results of safety inspections and audits to Safety Manager. Monitors work practices and procedures for compliance with health and safety requirements. Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems. Facilitates productive discussions among employees and management relative to safe workplace practices. Serves as a source of information on health and safety rules and regulations. Requests and collects employee feedback and suggestions on safety procedures. Distribute and post health and safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned incidental to health and safety activities. Rotating evening or weekend shift work may be required, based on operational need. Knowledge Required Familiar with safety policies and applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards. Education & Work Experience High school diploma or equivalent.
