ASAP We are seeking a Paramedic Medical Representative to support workplace health and safety initiatives within a large operational environment. This position combines clinical assessment, first aid response, injury prevention, employee wellness support, and occupational health responsibilities. The Medical Representative works closely with site leadership to help create a safe workplace while serving as a key resource for employee health concerns. This role is ideal for Paramedics looking to leverage their clinical experience in a non-traditional healthcare setting while gaining exposure to occupational health, workers' compensation, injury prevention, risk mitigation, and workplace safety programs. What You'll Do Assess and provide first aid treatment for employee injuries and illnesses Determine appropriate referrals to outside healthcare providers Support workers' compensation and return-to-work programs Maintain accurate records and medical documentation Educate employees on injury prevention and healthy workplace practices Participate in safety committee meetings and workplace wellness initiatives Monitor injury trends and identify opportunities for risk reduction Collaborate with site leadership on employee health and safety concerns Maintain daily activity logs and end-of-shift reporting Help promote a culture of safety, wellness, and prevention What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Active Paramedic Certification Strong assessment and communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Interest in occupational health and workplace safety Why This Opportunity Stands Out Opportunity to apply clinical skills outside of a traditional ambulance setting Exposure to occupational health, safety, and injury prevention programs Consistent overnight schedule with a 4-day work week Contract-to-hire potential Opportunity for long-term career growth within workplace health and safety Compensation $28 - $32 Per Hour Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
