JS Firm is hiring an experienced A&P Mechanic / Aircraft Mechanic to support a specialized defense aerospace client in Mesa, AZ.

About the Client

Our client is a specialized defense aerospace company that operates advanced fighter aircraft, including privately owned F-16s, to provide realistic combat training to the U.S. military and allied air forces. The Mesa facility is a major F-16 center, offering the opportunity to work directly on operational F-16 aircraft in a specialized military aviation environment.

Responsibilities

Perform aircraft maintenance, repair, modification, inspection, and Return-to-Service activities.

Troubleshoot aircraft systems, including flight controls, landing gear, hydraulic, fuel, pneumatic, powerplant, and APU systems.

Perform disassembly/reassembly, functional checks, and aircraft servicing.

Complete accurate maintenance records and documentation.

Follow FAA, OEM, safety, and company procedures.

Requirements

5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience.

Heavy maintenance and Return-to-Service experience preferred.

MRO, modification, or aircraft refurbishment experience preferred.

FAA A&P License preferred, not required.

Military or civilian aircraft maintenance experience accepted.

Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
