F-16 Sheet Metal Mechanics F-16 Crew Chiefs F-16 Engine Mechanics F-16 Avionics / E&E Technicians F-16 Fuels Specialists Overview We are seeking an experienced F-16 Aircraft Technician II to support maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and operational readiness of F-16 aircraft . This is a hands-on aircraft maintenance position ideal for experienced military aircraft maintainers, F-16 Crew Chiefs, aircraft mechanics, and tactical aircraft maintenance professionals with a strong understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, technical data, and flight-line operations. The Aircraft Technician II will perform intermediate to advanced aircraft maintenance while supporting safe, efficient, and mission-ready operations. Responsibilities Perform intermediate to advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of F-16 aircraft and associated systems . Perform maintenance and repair involving aircraft engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel, electrical, and mechanical systems. Inspect aircraft systems and components to identify discrepancies, defects, and required corrective actions. Diagnose and resolve aircraft malfunctions using technical data, maintenance manuals, schematics, blueprints, and applicable maintenance procedures. Perform aircraft servicing, inspections, component removal and installation, operational checks, and corrective maintenance. Utilize specialized aircraft maintenance tools, test equipment, and ground support equipment. Maintain accurate aircraft maintenance records and documentation. Communicate aircraft discrepancies, maintenance status, and corrective actions to appropriate personnel and aircrew. Maintain strict tool control and accountability throughout all phases of aircraft maintenance. Properly control, track, and document tools and immediately report damaged, missing, or unserviceable equipment. Assist with maintenance scheduling, material coordination, production requirements, and aircraft availability. Communicate parts, supply, tooling, and equipment shortages to leadership. Work closely with maintenance leads, technicians, aircrew, supply personnel, and other departments to meet operational requirements. Follow FAA airworthiness requirements and all applicable company maintenance procedures. Comply with
OSHA/OH&S
requirements and properly utilize PPE and required safety equipment. Maintain clean and organized aircraft, hangar, shop, and work areas. Assist and mentor less-experienced technicians when required. Perform additional aircraft maintenance duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum 5 years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience required. F-16 maintenance experience strongly preferred. In-depth experience with F-16 or similar military/tactical aircraft platforms strongly preferred. Strong working knowledge of aircraft mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, electrical, and related systems. Ability to troubleshoot aircraft discrepancies and determine appropriate corrective actions. Ability to read and interpret aircraft technical orders, maintenance manuals, technical data, schematics, procedures, and blueprints. Experience using aircraft-specific tools, test equipment, and ground support equipment. Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance documentation and tool-control requirements. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively within a maintenance team. Strong attention to detail, safety, quality, and aircraft readiness. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with technicians, leadership, support personnel, and aircrew. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as operational requirements dictate. Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally. Must be able to work in varying weather and environmental conditions. Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) and cannot be barred from accessing required military installations. Must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance . Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook experience preferred. Preferred Qualifications F-16 Crew Chief / Tactical Aircraft Maintenance experience Previous military aviation maintenance experience F-16 flight-line or back-shop maintenance experience Experience supporting military or DoD aviation operations Experience with fighter or tactical aircraft FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant (A&P) certification is a plus Familiarity with FAA regulations, including 14 CFR Parts 91 and 135, is a plus Military & Veteran Friendly Veterans and transitioning service members are highly encouraged to apply.
