Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. Previous hands-on experience with fire alarm installation and service is required for this position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, troubleshooting, inspecting, and maintaining fire alarm systems and related low-voltage systems in commercial environments. We are looking for someone who is motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while maintaining excellent customer service. Pay is based on experience and qualifications. REQUIRED

Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing fire alarm systems Knowledge of low-voltage wiring and troubleshooting Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams Strong problem-solving and communication skills Valid driver's license with reliable transportation Ability to pass background check and drug screening if required Ability to lift, climb ladders, and work in various environments NICET certification is a plus but not required OSHA certification is a plus Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid holidays and vacation Opportunities for advancement Ongoing training and certifications Health benefits available Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday Work Location Based out of St. Augustine, FL and surrounding counties

Pay:

$24.80 - $29.90 per hour

(Yes/No) Are you able to reliably commute to St. Augustine, FL and surrounding counties? Are you able to successfully pass a background check as part of the hiring process? How many years of hands-on experience do you have installing and servicing fire alarm systems? What hourly pay range are you seeking? Please briefly describe your previous fire alarm experience, including the type of installation and service work you performed. Which fire alarm systems/panels have you worked with? Can you read and understand fire alarm blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics? Do you currently hold any fire alarm, NICET, OSHA, low-voltage, or other related certifications/licenses? If yes, please list them. Certifications are a plus but are not required.
