In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your technical proficiency and hands-on skills will be essential in delivering top-tier automotive service that keeps our customers confident on the road. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems. Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and related systems, ensuring optimal performance. Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs, wheel alignments, and steering system diagnostics to enhance ride quality and safety. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately for electrical system troubleshooting and repairs involving automotive electrical systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools to execute repairs efficiently and safely. Service diesel engines and GM vehicles with precision, adhering to manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs, estimates, and maintenance recommendations to ensure transparency and satisfaction. Skills Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and understanding vehicle systems for accurate diagnostics. Knowledge of Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) technology for modern vehicle safety features. Skilled in using automotive diagnostic tools and electronic testing equipment for precise troubleshooting. Mechanical knowledge across various vehicle components including powertrain, transmissions, suspension systems, and electrical systems. Experience with vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and transmission repairs. Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately for electrical repairs or modifications. Strong customer service skills combined with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Familiarity with auto estimating software to assist in repair planning and parts ordering.
