Job Description

Tucker Wellness and Rehab is currently looking for an experienced Floor Technician for a full-time position.
Hours :
6am-2:30pm As a Floor Technician, you will perform the day-to-day activities of buffing, waxing the floors, and cleaning tasks by current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner.
Responsibilities:
Perform specific tasks by daily schedules. Clean assigned areas promptly. Correctly set up appropriate "Caution" and safety signs before performing janitorial tasks. Before the end of shift, recheck all areas to ensure proper order, cleanliness, and completion of waste disposal. Keep work areas free of hazardous conditions, spills, excess carts, buckets, supplies, equipment, etc. Dispose of waste and trash into proper containers and line receptacles with plastic liners as appropriate and assigned. Comply with established infection control and universal precaution practices, coordinate routine/terminal isolation procedures with nursing services, and follow fire safety policies and procedures. Report all incidents, accidents, hazardous conditions, or equipment to the supervisor immediately. Report defective equipment or equipment in need of repair. Encourage an atmosphere of optimism, warmth, and interest in patients' personal and health care needs.
Requirements:
Must possess the ability to seek out and accept new methods and principles and incorporate them into existing floor care practices. Must follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixture of cleaning compounds, liquids, cleaning instructions, etc. Must be able to communicate information effectively to appropriate personnel regarding emergencies.

$15.00 - $15.50 per hour Ability to
