Our client, a facilities and building services organization, is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Building Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Maintenance team supporting building operations. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail and a customer-service mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

30-31/hr What's the Job? Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general building systems, including basic HVAC tasks such as changing filters and belts. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing and general building issues in a timely and efficient manner. Inspect buildings and premises for safety hazards and perform necessary maintenance to maintain a safe working environment. Respond to maintenance requests and coordinate with external contractors when specialized repairs are required. Maintain tools and supplies inventory and accurately document completed maintenance and repair activities. What's Needed? 5-7 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field. Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems. Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools and the ability to diagnose and perform general repairs independently. Strong communication and customer service skills. Physical ability to lift heavy objects and safely perform maintenance work in various working conditions. What's in it for me? First shift schedule.
