Maintenance Mechanic (105838) #KONA_INDEED Our client is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team and be responsible for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment, forklifts, tractors, and company vehicles. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in repair and maintenance of process or industrial equipment. Apply today for immediate consideration! Hours Full-time, able to work 5 various days including weekends, 8+ hour shifts, 6am-6pm (part-time and full-time shifts available!) Location Kailua-Kona, Big Island Pay $21 to $28 an hour, Based on Experience Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair process plant and field mechanical equipment. Overhaul pumps, motors, gear reducers, fans, and other mechanical equipment. Operate and maintain shop equipment, forklifts, tractors, and company vehicles. Perform inspections to ensure that equipment is in proper condition. Maintain records and reports. Respond to emergency after-hour calls as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Trade school or technical training in mechanical trade preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience in repair and maintenance of process or industrial equipment. Forklift experience a plus, but not required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Strong organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and state and federal background check.
