Maintenance Technician -

Apartment Complex Pay:

$16.00-$18.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00

Full-time Gem State Staffing is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Technician to work at a local apartment complex. This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, dependable, and comfortable handling a variety of general maintenance and repair tasks. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for helping keep apartment units and the property in good working condition. Daily responsibilities may include responding to maintenance requests, troubleshooting problems, completing general repairs, and assisting with the preparation of apartment units as needed. We are looking for someone who can work independently, manage assigned tasks efficiently, and provide quality workmanship. Experience working with tankless water heaters is a huge plus. Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the apartment complex Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs Assist with basic plumbing and general property repairs Perform preventative maintenance as needed Help prepare apartment units for new residents Inspect work areas and identify maintenance concerns Maintain a clean and safe work area Communicate professionally with property staff and residents Complete assigned work efficiently and with attention to detail Requirements 1-2 years of maintenance, apartment maintenance, construction, or related experience required Must have own tools Must have own reliable vehicle Must possess a valid driver's license Must be available to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Must have basic knowledge of general repairs and maintenance Previous apartment or property maintenance experience is preferred Tankless water heater experience is highly preferred Compensation & Schedule $16.00-$18.00 per hour, depending on experience Full-time Monday through Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Apply Today!
