Position Overview We are looking for a dedicated Property Maintenance Worker to maintain, protect, and optimize our physical properties in Rexburg, Idaho. In this role, you will handle hands-on repair work, preventive maintenance, and minor equipment servicing across our residential units and facilities. You will ensure our structures and spaces remain safe, operational, and comfortable for the residents and team members who depend on them.Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot & Repair:
Perform minor repairs and technical maintenance across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.Appliance & Systems Care:
Inspect, service, and repair home appliances and property fixtures to maximize efficiency and service life.Proactive Facilities Inspection:
Conduct routine physical inspections of grounds and buildings to spot issues before they become major problems.Resident Service & Communication:
Respond promptly to work orders and requests with composure, courtesy, and a customer-first focus.Preventive Maintenance:
Assist with structured routine maintenance programs to extend facility life and keep operational costs sustainable.Cleanliness & Grounds:
Keep common areas, pathways, and outdoor spaces clean, safe, and well-maintained across all weather conditions.Record Keeping:
Accurately document maintenance actions, repairs, and completed tasks.Emergency Response:
Participate in scheduled emergency/on-call response for urgent property needs outside of standard working hours. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in property maintenance or related trades is a plus. Practical experience in general maintenance, residential repair, plumbing, basic electrical, or HVAC systems. Physical capability to lift heavy objects, handle physically demanding work, climb ladders, and work outdoors in varied weather conditions. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to pass pre-employment background checks, drug/alcohol screenings, and ongoing testing.
