Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), refrigeration systems, and various appliances across our facilities. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and other mechanical systems to ensure continuous operation. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) equipment, and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals. Install, modify, or upgrade appliances and mechanical components in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Conduct repairs on kitchen equipment such as ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators, and other commercial appliances to minimize downtime. Operate company vehicles safely for maintenance tasks at various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions promptly. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair and mechanical systems repair. Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, HVAC & appliance technology for troubleshooting and repairs. Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, and kitchen equipment maintenance. Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely; familiarity with equipment repair procedures is essential. Construction experience or familiarity with building systems is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills. Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients. Experience working with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) supplies and procedures. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for operating company vehicles responsibly.
