As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be the go‑to expert for repairing, maintaining, and improving equipment across the facility. If you love hands‑on work, troubleshooting, and staying busy, this role is a perfect fit. What You'll Do Keep machinery running smoothly by observing equipment, listening for issues, and identifying root causes Dismantle devices to access and replace defective parts Inspect parts for wear, imperfections, and dimensional changes Adjust, lubricate, clean, and reinstall functional components Test equipment performance after repairs Use welding tools, machine tools, and hand tools to repair equipment throughout the facility Perform general maintenance tasks: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and preventative maintenance Request materials and parts as needed Support minor electrical repairs under the plant electrician Handle additional maintenance duties as assigned What Helps You Thrive Strong communication skills — clear, confident, and reliable Ability to push up to 75 lbs , bend, kneel, climb, and work physically throughout the shift Solid understanding of electrical systems and plumbing Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Experience with PVC, CPVC, and black steel pipe is a plus Requirements Must pass a background check Must pass a drug test Must be willing to work overtime This is a 1099 independent contractor position
Pay:
$28.97 - $60.82 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
