This is a great direct hire opportunity with comprehensive benefits at a growing, global company! Responsibilities of the Facilities Maintenance Mechanic Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment Assist with maintaining and repairing air compressors, cooling towers, fork trucks, doors, blowers, dock plates, and company grounds Perform miscellaneous plumbing, carpentry, and demolition throughout the plant Move machinery as necessary Order maintenance shop supplies Support other departments and outside vendors Perform other duties and safety-related projects as required Qualifications of the Facilities Maintenance Mechanic High school diploma or equivalent Strong mechanical, fabrication, plumbing, and carpentry skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Forklift certification and/or hazardous waste certification a plus Ability to lift/move up to 75 lbs.
