Maintenance Technician The Pavilion at Queens in Flushing is seeking Maintenance Technicians to join our team! We are looking for dependable, hands-on individuals with a strong work ethic and basic maintenance experience to help ensure our facility, equipment, and resident living areas are properly maintained. Responsibilities Perform preventive and proactive maintenance throughout the facility, including basic plumbing, electrical, construction, HVAC, and mechanical work. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team under the direction of the Director of Maintenance. Coordinate daily maintenance activities with the supervisor, particularly when working in resident living areas. Help maintain the facility and equipment to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for residents. Assist with additional maintenance-related duties as assigned by the supervisor. Respond to routine maintenance needs in a timely and professional manner. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of basic maintenance experience and general maintenance knowledge. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, construction, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Healthcare or skilled nursing facility experience is a plus. Strong time management and communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. Quality-focused with a strong attention to detail. Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
