Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and versatile Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of technical skills and experience in facilities maintenance, ensuring that residential and commercial properties are well-maintained and functional. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and as a team, solve problems, and provide excellent customer service. Duties Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry repairs. Carry out residential projects to enhance the aesthetic appeal of properties. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, ensuring safety standards are met. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and needs promptly. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and job details. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Proficiency in electrical systems, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance person tasks. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Strong leadership skills. Familiarity with using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools for troubleshooting electrical issues. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed. A customer-oriented mindset with the ability to build positive relationships with clients.
