Floor Technician

Overall Responsibility The ideal candidate will be able to perform sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and vacuuming assignments required, as well as be an outstanding representative of ESCFederal. Must be able to work weekends and holidays -

Second Shift General Duties and Responsibilities:

Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming Clean the deck, food court and corridors; remove gum from floors Operate and maintain press was machine, walk behind and rider safely Pressure wash facility restrooms and performing proper vacuuming of escalators Observe and perform safety precautions at all times, utilize proper safety signage Report any safety hazards for proper action Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment Patrol entire site for any safety hazards and/or spills that needs to be cleaned Requirements Must be able to walk and/or stand for up to four hours at a time minimum Must be able to perform all required duties of the position Must be able to use hand tools and facilities equipment Must have knowledge on operating Rider, Walk Behind Scrubber, Pressure Washer Able to work independently, exercise creativity, attentive to detail and maintain a positive attitude High School Diploma or equivalent Able to communicate effectively both orally and written Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
