Maintenance Technician Location:

Tennessee Smoky Mountains Pay:

$25 per hour

Contract Do you take pride in your work and enjoy keeping homes running smoothly? We are seeking a reliable, experienced Maintenance Technician to support a portfolio of professionally managed vacation rental homes in the Smoky Mountains area. This is a hands-on opportunity for a skilled problem-solver who enjoys variety, working independently, and helping ensure guests have a safe, comfortable, memorable stay. What You'll Do Perform routine and preventive maintenance across multiple vacation rental properties. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, drywall, carpentry, and general home-repair issues. Respond to maintenance requests during guest stays, including occasional urgent or emergency needs. Prepare homes for guest arrivals by ensuring systems and amenities are working properly. Complete general improvement projects, including painting, fixture replacement, and minor repairs. Inspect properties and grounds for safety, functionality, and overall condition. Coordinate with vendors when specialized support is needed. Partner with cleaning and operations teams to resolve turnover-related maintenance items. What We're Looking For 3-5+ years of general maintenance experience. Strong troubleshooting and repair skills. Experience with vacation rentals, hotels, apartments, Airbnb, or property management is a plus. Ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented work habits. Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of auto insurance.
