We are looking for a reliable and experienced Low Voltage Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, terminating, and troubleshooting low voltage systems, including security cameras (CCTV), wireless access points, and structured cabling . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with low voltage installations in commercial, residential, or industrial settings and take pride in delivering clean, professional cable management.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, mount, and configure security cameras (CCTV) and wireless access points (WAPs) Run, terminate, and test CAT5e/CAT6 and coaxial cables for data, voice, and video systems Perform neat and organized cable management , labeling and securing cables according to best practices and project specs Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and technical diagrams Use tools such as cable testers, drills, fish tape, ladders, and lifts safely and efficiently Work independently or as part of a team to complete installations on time and within budget Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cabling, connectivity, or devices Follow company safety standards and job site protocols Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred 1-3 years of experience in low voltage installations or related field Proficiency with cable pulling, termination (RJ45, coax), and testing Experience installing and aiming security cameras and wireless access points Understanding of basic networking and IP-based systems Strong attention to detail, especially in cable routing and organization Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders/lifts as needed Preferred Certifications (Not Required): OSHA 10 or 30 Certification BICSI Installer or Technician AVIXA, CompTIA, or manufacturer-specific credentials (e.g., Ubiquiti, Axis, Hikvision) If you feel you have what it takes to be our low voltage employee please send us your resume!
