Job Description

Aero Construction (Division of Pacific Commercial Equipment, Inc.) is a full service commercial and residential Earthwork and Utilities Company based in Snohomish. We are committed to safety, quality and sustainability. We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal Technician will have a strong background in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of heavy construction equipment, ensuring machinery safety and efficiency.
Job Duties:
Maintain and repair a variety of heavy equipment including backhoes, dump trucks, front-end loaders, tractor-trailer rigs, sweepers, agricultural tractors with mowers and similar equipment Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair a variety of defects, malfunctions and other problems in vehicle systems and components; repairs, rebuilds and/or overhauls brakes, cooling systems, drive train components, electrical components, engines, exhaust systems, hydraulic systems, suspension and steering systems, transmissions, and other assemblies, components and systems as necessary; replace and/or rebuild damaged or worn parts as required Perform routine maintenance and preventive services on heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance Read, understand, interpret and work from a variety of service and repair manuals, manufacturer's bulletins, schematic drawings and related materials Conduct thorough inspections to identify and address potential problems before they lead to equipment failure Follows all safety policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
Have a valid driver's license
  • CDL preferred 5+ years as a diesel mechanic (heavy equipment) Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the day, maneuver in small areas, and stand for long periods of time Ability to work in adverse weather conditions Proficiency with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Minimum basic tools to 3/4 drive Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Computer competency Must have own tools Pay is
DOE Schedule:
Monday-Friday Day Shift:
6:30am-3pm Some overtime required
